small foundation with a big impact

fund raising Schreuder Instituut

In recent weeks the children of groups 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Instituut Schreuder, a primary school in Amsterdam, have been committed to raising money for Happy Watoto. Doing chores, baking and selling cakes, collecting from the tourists at Museumplein (they had already raising money in their enthusiasm before they were told that this way of collecting money is not so safe for children) and finally a sponsored walk on Wednesday 19 June, have ensured that they have raised a fantastic amount of € 2,246.44.

During the final party within a Tanzania theme, the cheque was handed over by children of group 8 to the chairman of the foundation - Paul Nielen.
The management, teacher's team and parents of Schreuder Primary School are incredibly proud of the children that they have raised so much money for the children in Tanzania.

On request and for the sake of privacy, the children in the photo have been made unrecognizable.
