small foundation with a big impact

first music lessons at school

Melanie has arrived in Tanzania this week to start a few months of voluntary work at the school. She will pass on her musical talents to the children here, and work as a music teacher. Both the young children in Kikatiti and the primary school pupils in Ngorika are going to have music lessons three times a week. The children really enjoy singing along with the flutes and tambourine that Melanie brought with her. The old piano, which only the teacher can play, is a perfect addition. Our first Swedish voluntary worker will arrive next week and she will also give music lessons. Our goal is to have a real school orchestra and choir at the end of their stay here in Tanzania.
