small foundation with a big impact

talented athletes in our home

Three of our boys, Kuct, Samwel and Peter, were selected from 56 schools in total to represent Tanzania North at the national primary school games UMISHUMTA 2012 in Dar er Salaam.
U – Umoja, which means ‘together’
MI – michezo, which means ‘sports’
SHU M – shule msingi, which means ‘primary school’
TA – Tanzania

Kust and Samwel competed in the handball competition and Peter in track and field against South West and East Tanzania. They made it into the semi finals, but unfortunately did not win any medals. However, it’s an amazing achievement that they made it this far anyway. The local radio also paid lots of attention to this event.
