small foundation with a big impact

end of school year

Both Kikatiti as Ngorika school year is about to end. In all classes there were exams for all subjects, from simple ones for the lower classes to difficult in the higher classes. And all in English. For class 4 there is still two days national exam to go. Class 7, which has finished late September and "graduated", had very good results. They scored a 5th place out of 59 schools in the area. Even better than last year!

Next year there are eight children that will come from Kikatiti to Ngorika in class 0 (pre-unity). With seven classes in Ngorika, the number of home children will increase slightly to 102. Along with the children who live in the village, they will begin the new school year with fresh energy and will become good friends again. Even if the "home children" soccer against the "village children" won, they remain good friends and that draws the positive atmosphere here at Ngorika. Adults can learn a lot from these children.
