small foundation with a big impact

new school year

The usual Monday morning meeting, held every other week, was special on Monday 9 January. On this first meeting of the 2017 school year, we gathered outside near the flag to introduce and welcome the new pupils. All of the teachers were also given a chance to say something about the coming school year. Academic teacher Onesmo led the meeting.

The children from the home had arrived back at school on Saturday and Sunday after spending their vacation with their families.

I was asked to say something about our two dogs, and what they are and are not allowed to do. It is great to see how much fun the children have with our pets. Moyo is a male dog who is missing his left hind leg, but is still able to walk and even run with Sheila, who is still a puppy and has a lot to learn, but both love the attention they get from the children.
